On September 1, the Taillong–Chowei–Huayou Integrated Strategic Cooperation Meeting on Sodium-Ion Technology was held at Huayou Quzhou Industrial Park, aiming to foster deep integration across the sodium-ion battery industry chain—both upstream and downstream—and to build a collaborative, innovative ecosystem that drives mutual benefits and shared success.

Fan Ming, General Manager of Anqing Chaoren Energy Technology Co., Ltd. under ChaoWei Group, detailed ChaoWei's strategic positioning and achievements in the sodium-ion battery field during his speech. He emphasized that, in this era of intense internal competition, the collaboration among Huayou, Tailg, and ChaoWei will forge a "golden triangle" spanning "core raw materials → small power batteries → end-market applications," seamlessly integrating everything from mineral resources to final consumer markets. This partnership is poised to make a significant and impactful mark on the future development of sodium-ion batteries.

Xu Wei, HuaYou Cobalt's Senior Vice President and President of HuaYou New Materials Industry Group, eloquently summarized the three companies' collaborative journey with the keywords "Encounter, Mutual Understanding, and Partnership." He emphasized that this meeting marks a fresh new beginning for the strategic partnership among Tailg, Chaowei, and HuaYou.
HuaYou is committed to fully implementing the spirit of the first joint collaboration meeting, using its Guangxi and Quzhou campuses as model sites to vigorously promote the practical application of sodium-ion batteries in two- and three-wheeled vehicles across various internal scenarios, thereby accelerating the commercialization of these innovative products. The three companies have joined forces because they share a common vision of "innovation-driven excellence in manufacturing," as well as aligned core values centered on "co-creation, mutual benefit, shared responsibility, and collective success."
Looking ahead, under the leadership of Tailg—recognized for its strong influence over the end-market—HuaYou, Chaowei, and Tailg will work closely together, leveraging Chaowei’s expertise in controlling product performance and costs. By combining their respective strengths and collaborating seamlessly, the three companies are poised to contribute their collective wisdom and efforts toward achieving China’s ambitious "Dual Carbon" goals and driving high-quality growth in the burgeoning new-energy industry!

The successful convening of this strategic cooperation meeting on sodium-ion battery integration has not only deepened the mutual trust among the three parties in the sodium-electricity sector but also established a new, comprehensive industry-wide collaboration model spanning "materials—cells—complete vehicles." Moving forward, Tailg, Chaowei, and Huayou will fully leverage their respective strengths in vehicle manufacturing, battery technology, and materials R&D, working together to drive breakthroughs in sodium-ion technology, foster product innovation, and expand into new markets. Guided by technological innovation, market demand, and lean manufacturing principles, the three companies will jointly build a green, efficient, and sustainable sodium-electricity industry ecosystem. By developing sodium-ion demonstration parks, accelerating the large-scale adoption of sodium-based products, and strengthening collaborative technological advancements, they aim to support the nation’s "Dual Carbon" goals and contribute even more significantly to China’s thriving new-energy initiatives.
